Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and [pending: business name] (“Cosmic Color Co”, “we”). By using the site or the app, or buying from us, you agree to them, along with our Privacy, Shipping, and Returns & refunds policies.
Accounts
You need to be at least 13 to create an account, and 18 (or have a parent’s or guardian’s permission) to buy. Keep your sign-in details secure; you’re responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at hello@cosmiccolor.co if you think someone else has used it.
What astrology is here
Charts, colors, readings, and forecasts are for reflection, self-expression, and enjoyment. They aren’t scientific predictions, and they aren’t medical, psychological, financial, legal, or other professional advice. Please don’t rely on them for important decisions.
Orders and prices
Prices are in US dollars and are shown before you pay. The price at checkout is the one that applies. If a price or product was listed in error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, even after it’s placed.
Every physical piece is made to order by our print partner. Your order is accepted when payment is confirmed. We may cancel and fully refund an order we can’t fulfill. Printed colors can vary slightly from what you see on screen. Shipping, delays, and delivery estimates are covered in Shipping; problems and refunds in Returns & refunds.
Reports are digital, and each one uses a credit. You’re responsible for entering accurate birth details; reports depend on them.
Sales tax may be added where required.
Memberships
Memberships are paid plans for the app:
- Monthly: $5.99 per month. Annual: $49.99 per year.
- Pro: $24.99 per month. Pro Annual: $249.99 per year.
Automatic renewal. A membership renews automatically at the end of each period and PayPal charges the price shown at signup, until you cancel. We show the price, billing period, and renewal terms before you subscribe, ask you to agree to them, and email you a confirmation. If the price is going to change, we’ll tell you before your next renewal, and you can cancel before it applies. For annual plans, we’ll send a reminder before the renewal date.
Canceling. You can cancel online at any time, from your account or through PayPal. Your membership stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for, then stops; you won’t be charged again. We don’t give partial refunds for unused time, except where the law requires it.
Member benefits. Members get 15% off physical pieces and free shipping while the membership is active. Benefits can change; we’ll give notice before a change affects a period you’ve already paid for.
Promotions and gift codes
Founding gift. Each of our first 100 paid merch orders includes one code for 30 days of app membership. While supplies last; we decide which orders are the first 100 by payment time.
For any promotional or gift code:
- Founding codes don’t expire. Any future code with an expiration date will show it clearly on the code itself.
- It’s promotional: it has no cash value, can’t be exchanged for money, and can’t be resold.
- It can be used once, by one account. It can’t be applied to an account that already has an active membership, so you can pass it to someone else instead.
- A free membership period ends on its own; it doesn’t turn into a paid membership unless you choose to subscribe.
- We may void codes obtained or used fraudulently.
Your content and ours
The site, the app, our designs, color system, and written content belong to us or our licensors. When you buy a piece, it’s yours to use and enjoy; that doesn’t give you rights to reproduce our designs commercially.
You keep ownership of what you enter, such as birth details, names, and gift messages. You give us permission to use it to provide the service and make your order, including printing it on your piece when you choose a design that shows it. Only enter details you have the right to use.
Using the service
Please don’t misuse the service: no breaking the law, interfering with how it runs, scraping or copying it at scale, reselling access, or entering content that’s unlawful or that you don’t have the right to use. We may suspend or close accounts that do, and refund any unused paid membership time.
Disclaimers and liability
We work to keep the service accurate and available, but it’s provided “as is”, without warranties except those the law doesn’t allow us to exclude. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the purchase it relates to. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can’t be waived.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of [pending: state], and applicable US federal law. If you have a problem, please email hello@cosmiccolor.co first; most things can be resolved quickly. If we can’t resolve it, either of us may bring a claim in the courts of that state, or in small claims court where you live if your claim qualifies.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you by email or in the app before they apply. Changes don’t apply to orders already placed.
